OUR STORY

From 1965
to 1992

The history of Angelika Pallas Hotel began many years before the hotel itself was established.

From 1965 to 1992, the site where the hotel now stands was home to Camping Sole Mare, the first campsite in the area, located right by the sea. For almost three decades, it welcomed travellers from Greece and abroad and became an important part of the region’s early tourism development.

After 1992, the property was divided into two parts, and the present-day hotel was built on one of them, continuing the family’s long-standing involvement in hospitality.

The name Angelika was chosen in honour of the owners’ grandmother, Angeliki, who was the heart of the family business and ran the campsite throughout those years with dedication and love. Sadly, she passed away during the construction of the hotel and did not have the opportunity to see it completed. In honour of her memory and contribution, the owners chose to give the hotel her name.

Today, Angelika Pallas Hotel continues the same family tradition of hospitality, combining the history of the place with a contemporary stay experience.

Even the hotel’s digital assistant bears the name Angelika, as a modern tribute to the woman who was at the heart of the family business.
